The closest supermarket is a Whole Foods, one block to the west of CityView on Pennsylvania Avenue.
There is also a grocery section at Target, just one block south on 20th Street.
Just a few blocks further to the east, there is a Giant at the corner of Spring Garden Street and Broad Street, and another Giant to the southwest on 23rd Street between Arch and Cherry Streets.
If you’d care to go further afield, there are two Trader Joes on Market Street in Center City and JFK Boulevard toward University City, two Shop Rite locations at either end of Oregon Avenue in South Philly, another Giant on Christopher Columbus Boulevard, and grocery sections in most Targets and Walmarts.
If you’d prefer to shop small, there are a number of small independent grocery stores throughout the neighborhood.
