Location

CityView is conveniently located at 2001 Hamilton Street, at the intersection of Philadelphia’s Logan Square, Fairmount, and Spring Garden neighborhoods, a great residential location that’s still close to many of Philadelphia’s great attractions.

The Benjamin Franklin Parkway and Eakins Oval, home to many major gatherings and cultural festivals including Philadelphia’s annual Fourth of July concert and fireworks celebration (visible from many west-facing units), is a short stroll away. The Oval is also the site of the finish line of the Philadelphia Marathon and other major road races.

We’re right near many cultural institutions: The Philadelphia Museum of Art, with its famed “Rocky Steps” is about a half mile away. The Rodin Museum, the Barnes Foundation, and the Franklin Institute are all within a couple of blocks, as are the Drexel Academy of Natural Sciences and the main branch of the Philadelphia Free Library. Popular music venues like Union Transfer, Underground Arts, and the Met are less than a mile away.

Is the Great Outdoors more your thing? We’re close to the Schuylkill River Trail (SRT), a popular venue for walking, running, and bicycling. (CityView also has a bicycle cage to store your bike safely.) Paine’s Park skateboard park is also nearby. The SRT is also the home of the famed Boathouse Row and many rowing regattas, with viewing locations up and down the river. Also nearby are Baldwin Park, the baseball diamonds at JJ Anderes Park, the Van Colin Playground, the Rob Stuart Memorial Dog Park, Logan Square, and many other outdoor areas.

Despite the outer-city feel, we’re still less than a mile from City Hall, the center of the city, and less than two miles from Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, and other iconic American historical sites.
